General information:

Regularly filtering, dehumidifying and degasifying the insulating oil from transformers and circuit-breakers significantly increases the service life and performance of these electrical components.
AAN GmbH manufactures systems for purifying insulating oil.

Characteristics:

• flow rates of between 600 and 12000 l/h
• single-stage or double-stage versions available
• direct heating of the oil or gentle heating using a primary water/glycol circuit
• stored program control for fully automatic operation
• optical/electrical filter monitoring
• electrical level monitoring in the degasification container
• oil meters
• available as a fixed system, a system moveable on rollers or installed on a trailer with a traffic permit

Operating conditions:

• standard insulating oil
• max. humidity of 50 ppm bound water
• max. gas content 10-12 vol. %

Performance depends on the oil flow runs:

• humidity content –
  one flow run/various flow runs: <10 ppm/<5 ppm
• gas content –
  one flow run/various flow runs: 0.7 vol. %/0.1 vol.%
• breakdown voltage –
  one flow run/various flow runs: > 65 kV/>70 kV/2.5 mm
